TRADING POST - N. Woodstock, NH
Visit Clark's Trading Post for a 30-minute excursion through the 1904
covered bridgeaboard the White Mountain Central Railroad and to see the
bear show, featuring trained North American Black Bears, unmuzzled and
unleashed.
FLUME GORGE

The Flume is a natural gorge discovered in 1808 that extends 800 feet
at the base of Mt. Liberty. From the Latin word fluere - to flow and the
Medieval French word flumen - a stream or river; the American English
word FLUME is a narrow riverbed gorge. Explore The Flume Gorge from May
until October
GOLF

LOST RIVER
GORGE & BOULDER CAVES - N. Woodstock, NH
The Lost River Gorge and Boulder Caves is a journey through time as little
has changed in Kinsman Notch since the last Ice Age, 25,000 years ago.
Explore steepwalled gorges and rugged boulder caves while viewing hundreds
of varieties of native flowers, ferns and shrubs in the nature garden.
And while you're visiting, find out why the river is called the "Lost
River." Open mid-May through mid-October.

WASHINGTON AUTO ROAD - Pinkham Notch, NH
Take a drive to the 6,288 ft. summit of Mt. Washington, the highest peak
in the Northeast, while traveling through four different climate zones.
Mt. Washington is home to the "World's Worst Weather" so every day is
a new experience! Once at the summit, visit the Mount Washington Observatory
Museum and the Tip Top House, the oldest building on Mt. Washington or
check out the historic Summit Stage Office where the world's highest winds
(231 mph) were recorded on April 12, 1934.

you up at the river destination of your choice. Whitewater Rafting on
Maine's Kennebec and Penobscot Rivers is offered through Northern
Outdoors.
SIX GUN CITY

STORY
