Art Opening at Snowvillage Inn, May 8th, 4-6pm

You are cordially invited to attend an art show and reception of the “Friday Painters” on May 8, 2024, from 4pm to 6pm at the lovely Snowvillage Inn. Art created by the “Friday Painters” en Plein Air will be featured during the reception with complimentary appetizers and a cash bar. Meet local artists Pat Goodwin, Jeri Swenson, Stephanie Kenney, Deb Samia, Sue Fortier, and others whose art will be on display at the Inn throughout May and June. Come view the stunning artwork and have a cocktail or enjoy dinner while soaking in spectacular views of the Presidential Mountains. All works will be available for purchase at the event, allowing you to obtain the perfect bespoke Mother’s Day gift!

The “Friday Painters” began gathering to paint en Plein Air at scenic locations throughout the Valley in the 1970s. The artists continue this tradition, creating in oil, pastels, acrylic, watercolor, and graphite on Fridays, May through November, at private and public venues. The group is free and open to those of all abilities. Schedules are available at ArtWorks Gallery/CCAC and MWVArts websites. The “Friday Painters” will return to paint on the beautiful grounds of the Snowvillage Inn on June 21st from 9am to 12pm. The public is welcome to observe and engage with the artists!
